Description :

They glide past as if in an idyllic film scene: fields with traditional crops, barns and meadows with lowing cattle and over 100 original buildings up to six centuries old. Touring the Ballenberg Open-Air Museum in a horse-drawn carriage is a leisurely journey through the history of everyday life in Switzerland: the farmer’s wife weeding her garden; the baker taking bread out of the oven; the charcoal burner heating up his pit and the weaver gliding her shuttle back and forth. Visitors can really enjoy these rural scenes from the horse-drawn carriage and then take a stroll to go even deeper into the world of yesteryear.
