Day 1 : Swiss Border or Airport – Lucerne

Travel from any Swiss Border or Airport to the fabulous and quaint city of Lucerne. In the afternoon enjoy an excursion to Mt Pilatus. After a boat trip on Lake Lucerne, you can look forward to a spectacular ride on the world’s steepest cog railway. Once at altitude 2132 metres, you’ll also be amazed by the panoramic views of the Alps! Then take the aerial cableway «Dragon Ride» and panorama gondolas down to Kriens, where a five-minute walk brings to bus no. 1 for the trip back to Lucerne. There is also an option of doing the Golden Round Trip the other way round. On the way back in Lucerne, enjoy the experience on Panorama-Yacht “SAPHIR” . During a 1-hour cruise, sit back and make yourself comfortable on the custom-designed deck furniture, while the ship gently glides over the waters. Day 2 : Lucerne

Rail trip to Engelberg, going to the top in the world’s first revolving gondola called Rotair is like being an eagle, exploring the landscape of the glacier world. Titlis Rotair offers various attractions like riding the Ice Flyer chairlift over glacier crevasses, having fun while snow tubing at the Titlis Glacier Park, enjoying the stunning view while walking on the glacier path gazing at the glacier cave. Day 3 : Lucerne – Interlaken

Travel to Interlaken on the Interlaken Lucerne Express (operated by GoldenPass line). In the afternoon proceed to Schilthorn. Enjoy the mountains, real wilderness and a breathtaking view of the Bernese Oberland on Mount Schilthorn, which became famous around the world thanks to the James Bond film «On Her Majesty’s Secret Service». You can be up on the Schilthorn (2970 m) in just 32 minutes from Stechelberg (864 m). In their revolving restaurant, they offer a large A-la-carte menu and the best view over Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Also a chance to combine a trip up the Schilthorn with a walk through the panoramic spa resort of Mürren (with no cars), a trip on the funicular railway to the Allmendhubel and a visit to the Trümmelbach glacier waterfalls (entrance not included) in Stechelberg. Day 4 : Interlaken

After breakfast a highlight of your visit to Switzerland awaits you. Enjoy a journey to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe. The highest railway station in Europe is located 3454 m/11’333 ft. Visitors gain access to a high-Alpine wonderland of ice, snow and rock, which they can admire from the viewing platforms on the Aletsch Glacier or in the Ice Palace. The railway journey to the Jungfraujoch is an experience which leads through the Eiger and the Mönch. Day 5 : Interlaken – Zermatt

Travel to Zermatt by train.Rest of the day is free at leisure to explore this car free town by foot or by horse carriage. Overnight in Zermatt.

Day 6 : Zermatt

Today You go on an excursion by cogwheel railway up to the Gornergrat. The ride takes about half an hour. It starts at an altitude of 1605 m and ends at 3090 m on the Gornergrat ridge. The train crosses forests and a high Alpine landscape later on, and stops in four different stations along the way. Once you reach the Gornergrat, you will have an amazing view of the Matterhorn and the Monte Rosa massif. This includes the Dufourspitze (4634 m), which is the highest peak in Switzerland. There is a hotel, a restaurant, and plenty of space to walk around and enjoy the scenery “or” you may proceed to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. Panoramic views of 38 four-thousand-meter-high peaks – a chance to immerse yourself in a Glacier Palace 15 m below the surface of the ice – Europe’s highest restaurant at 3883 m above sea level! Europe’s highest cable car will whisk you away over gaping glacial crevasses up to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise and a breathtakingly beautiful world of eternal ice and snow! The Mont Blanc, highest mountain of the Alps, appears almost near enough to touch. Visitors are very close to Italian territory now and look at the “endearing rear” of the famous Matterhorn. Below them at the foot of the mountain, they can see Europe’s largest ski region, open 365 days a year. Overnight in Zermatt.

Day 7 : Zermatt – Zurich or Geneva

Travel by train from Zermatt to Zurich or Geneva. The rest of the afternoon free to explore the city on your own using the Swiss Pass or proceed on an optional half day city tour. Overnight in Zurich or Geneva

Day 8 : Depart Zurich or Geneva

Depart Zurich or Geneva to any Swiss Border or Airport for your train or flight to the next destination.
